Times Destination Show A Success

Well the Times Destination show at Earls Court has passed for another year and it was good to see some familiar faces visit the stand. This year’s show attracted good crowds and all four days were extremely busy. Yet again this year we have seen a rise in bookings post show and new enquiries arriving every day. David Chance, co-founder of the school, gave several interviews to local TV channels interested in the unique offering the Gascony Cookery School has. Both David and Bernard were on hand to discuss the delights of the Gascony regional cuisine throughout the four days. Our chefs would like to say thank you to all that visited us while in London and we look forward to welcoming you to Gascony very soon.

David Chance commented “although the freezing temperatures and snow were a concern, the stand attracted great interest at a very diverse show”.We will be exhibiting at the Times Destinations show from the 4th to 7th February 2010.

Restoration

gascony_restoration_1Over the last few months in Gascony we have been hard at work restoring a ruined Gramont village house that is adjacent to The Table d’hote French restaurant. This has been an unusual restoration in the fact that we have only partly restored and created a terrace within its walls. We will be offering a unique dining experience on this terrace during the summer of 2010. As always our cookery school attendees can participate in the preparation of our wonderful French food and our Chambre d'Hote Hotel guests can simply enjoy the ambience and authentic tastes of France.
