The Gascony Cookery School is in full swing!

The Gascony Cookery School has been very busy!

Over the past two weeks, the weather here in Gramont has warmed considerably with long sunny days and balmy evenings. We’ve had new contingents of eager guests here to learn new cooking techniques, skills and recipes.

Our kitchens have been a hive of industry with students enjoying the challenge of learning French cookery. But it’s been enjoyable dispelling its reputation as a complex style of cookery to master. Our students were able to recreate the best of Gascon cookery, demonstrating that French cuisine is simple, accessible and enjoyable for all.

Our modern and cool rooms, all with ensuite facilities and some with air conditioning, have been most welcome for our students to return to at the end of their day in the kitchens. The three south facing terraces have been in full use to enjoy the early morning sunshine and warm evenings.
